Month of Caring

Our biggest volunteer event is our Month of Caring every September. We have nearly 1,000 volunteers throughout the Black Hills volunteer by packing meals, painting homes, performing lawn care for the elderly, disabled, and veterans.

Black Hills Reads volunteers

Black Hills Reads is always looking for volunteers for future opportunities. Some volunteer opportunities include: assisting with programs/events at local schools, helping pass out and deliver books and supplies to organizations, Race to Read event, and so much more. Volunteer through 2-1-1

The 2-1-1 Helpline Center host's a volunteer web base to connect to a variety of different volunteer opportunities all year round.
