For reference: United Way of the Black Hills (UWBH) | United Way Worldwide (UWW)

We have received numerous calls with questions regarding this effort that we would like to address.

Q: What is this partnership?
A: In March, Cottonelle announced a $1 million dollar commitment to UWW's COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Q: Is United Way of the Black Hills (UWBH) participating or benefiting from this effort?
UWBH is not involved in this partnership - this partnership is solely between Cottonelle and UWW.

It also is important to note that the UWW COVID-19 Relief Fund is NOT related to our UNITED We Stand COVID-19 Relief Fund.
100% OF DONATIONS to the UNITED We Stand COVID-19 Relief Fund will benefit non-profit organizations LOCALLY, in the Black Hills.
Donations to UWW's COVID-19 Relief Fund will benefit WORLDWIDE efforts surrounding COVID-19.

Q: What is the #ShareASquare challenge?
Cottonelle encourages consumers to tag instances of toilet paper sharing with the hashtag #ShareASquare. With every post using this hashtag, Cottonelle will donate an addition $1 donation, up to $100,000, to benefit UWW's COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Q: Is United Way of the Black Hills giving out toilet paper?
A: No, UWBH is not giving out toilet paper. If you need toilet paper, we encourage you call 2-1-1 and they may be able to direct you to businesses or local pantries that have toilet paper in stock.
