Service Area Impact

Education

19,904 children were able to attend and participate in child care and youth development activities like after-school programs and mentorship programs at low-no cost.

Financial Stability

  • 17,415 people called the 2-1-1 Helpline for services and resources like: food, shelter, mental health counseling, volunteer opportunities, etc. 
  • 150 received affordable housing through funded programs like Black Hills Habitat for Humanity and NeighborWorks 

Health

  • 8,537 people were able to access affordable mental health care through funded programs and efforts
  • 7,107 people received substance abuse counseling through funded programs

Education

414 children were able to attend and participate in child care and youth development activities like after-school programs and mentorship programs at low-no cost.

  • 2,332 people called the 2-1-1 Helpline for services and resources like: food, shelter, mental health counseling, volunteer opportunities, etc. 
  • 13 people received affordable housing through funded programs like Black Hills Habitat for Humanity and NeighborWorks 
  • 177 people were able to get to jobs and medical appointments at low-no cost through funding Prairie Hills Transit

Health

  • 497 women and children accessed emergency housing and other resources at Crisis Intervention Services
  • 114 people were able to access affordable mental health care through funded programs and efforts
  • 127 people received substance abuse counseling through the Compass Point Program

871 children were able to attend and participate in child care and youth development activities like after-school programs and mentorship programs at low-no cost.

  • 1,423 people called the 2-1-1 Helpline for services and resources like: food, shelter, mental health counseling, volunteer opportunities, etc. 
  • 7 people received affordable housing through funded programs like Black Hills Habitat for Humanity and NeighborWorks 
  • 945 people were able to get to jobs and medical appointments at low-no cost through funding Prairie Hills Transit

  • 409 women and children accessed emergency housing and other resources at Victims of Violence Prevention Program
  • 114 people were able to access affordable mental health care through funded programs and efforts
  • 353 people received substance abuse counseling

Health

  • 100 women and children accessed emergency housing and other resources at WEAVE
  • 42 people were able to access affordable mental health care through funded programs and efforts
  • 911 people received food and meals through services like Feeding SD and Meals on Wheels of Western SD
  • 468 people received substance abuse counseling
