September 3rd - 30th, 2020
Due to COVID-19, we have adjusted our traditional Day of Caring activities in an effort to protect the health of our community and respect CDC guidelines. While this year will be different than previous years of gathering, the mission remains the same: to UNITE our community through volunteerism and giving.
Day of Caring was established to promote the spirit and value of volunteerism, increase the awareness of local human service agencies, and demonstrate how people working together for the good of the community can accomplish great things. Participating organizations are matched with volunteers who choose to donate their time and talents to address our community’s needs.
Instead of celebrating and volunteering one day in each community, we will be celebrating Month of Caring in all communities throughout the Black Hills for the month of September.
