I was a lifelong Farmer/Rancher with my husband Mike until 2014 when we sold out. During that time I began working at a savings and loan company as a retirement specialist/customer service representative.
When the opportunity presented itself, I went to Northern State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Ed with a minor in Music Education. I taught for 23 years in the Pierre School District, first as a classroom teacher and then as a music teacher. While teaching I earned a Master's Equivalency in Education and Technology, was an Education Instruction Specialist for IBM, and conducted school accreditation reviews for AdvancEd.
After taking early retirement I became the Executive Director of SD Head Start Association for 8 years prior to coming to UWBH. I have been with UWBH for since January of 2021 and have loved every minute of it. I truly enjoy working with such a great and caring staff.
We have three grown children and two grandchildren and really enjoy living in the Hills.
