United Way of the Black Hills- Rapid City is comprised of 35 board members representing a variety of businesses/organizations from all over Rapid City. The Rapid City branch of United Way was formed in 1944. This year's campaign goal is $1,910,000 for the 2010-2011 campaign. Donations will help support 30 agencies that make up the Rapid City branch of the United Way that are focused on health and human service needs.
Tim Hill, General Manager of the RUSH hockey team and Joe Ferras, coach of the RUSH hockey team are serving as 2010-2011 Rapid City United Way Campaign Co-Chairmen.
