Day of Caring kicks off our fundraising campaign with a community-wide focus on providing a helping hand. This day brings together caring volunteers with agencies and community projects for one day of focused energy.
Thousands of volunteers across the Black Hills work on hundreds of projects from gardening to painting. The day allows for everyone to “give a little good” back to the community and make a difference for real people.
With an economic impact of more than $80,000 to the Black Hills area, this day is more than grabbing a shovel and digging in. It’s about providing that helping hand up to those people and agencies who need it.
Make a difference in our community by inviting your friends, family and co-workers and join one of the United Way of the Black Hills' Day of Caring events.
